An acrostic poem is a form of writing, in which each letter of a word spells out a message. Acrostic poems are easy to write, and some of the easiest acrostic poems use names. Try this exercise:

Type your name vertically on your computer. Now think of a word or a phrase that describes you and begins with each letter of your name.
