Middle School English

Starting on Monday, September 15, 5th graders will work on a Postcard Project.  To complete the project each student must choose a country they would like to visit and collect information, such as: interesting places to visit, native foods, and native people.  Although their postcard will be created in class, they must prepare for a show and tell on Thursday, September 18 related to the same topic.   Besides the standard show and tell rubric, they will be graded on timeliness, cleanliness, accuracy, behaviour, spelling and grammar, and materials.  Materials needed are 2 large index cards (5×8″), colored pencils and information about their topic.
