Middle School English

Today 6th grade practiced a class Spelling Bee.  Even though it was a practice run, it was exciting for most students.  We noticed that many mistakes came from mispronouncing the vowels (A-E-I).  Parents, you can help your child by practicing pronounciation of the alphabet (not just saying the alphabet, but looking at the letter and saying them correctly).  Hopefully we’ll be able to schedule another Spelling Bee for each group soon.
